August 11, UK Ministry of Defense delegation, headed by the Secretary of State for Defense Michael Fallon, is to visit the Ukrainian training ground in Zhytomyr region. As states the press office of Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, British instructors will arrive at the 199th proving ground.

The UK delegation is to attend the training places, learn the details of Ukrainian military training process, and communicate with instructors and soldiers.

The press office of Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers also reported that Mr. Fallon during his visit will meet Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk tomorrow in Kyiv. 

British military personnel have started training Ukrainian troops in medicine and defensive tactics in March 2015, UK also provided non-lethal equipment (night-vision goggles, first aid kits etc.). Earlier was reported that Britain intended to intensify the training program for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with doubling spending on military training to $ 9.4 mln.

July 20-31, "Rapid Trident/ Guardian Sabre 2015" military training was held in Yavoriv, Lviv region. More than 1.2 thousand soldiers from 18 countries, including UK, took part in the training.
