24 hours in Donbas: 6 soldiers injured, one killed on a mine

Until 6 pm, the militant were attacking Avdiivka, and in the evening the attacks increased in Luhansk sector

In the last 24 hours the militants in the Donbas conflict zone broke the cease-fire 20 times. As a result, three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, another three injured, and one soldier died in a mine explosion, as the Ukrainian Army HQ reported on Facebook.

“Near Shchastia and Novotashkovse the militants used mortars and grenade launchers. Near Syze they fired at least five 120-mm mines. Moreover, for almost a half-hour the militants attacked Ukrainian strongholds near Krymske with a 120-mm mortar,” the message informs.

In Mariupol sector, the militants attacked the Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske with grenade launchers and small arms. Other provocations happened in Maryinka.

In Donetsk sector, one Ukrainian soldier was injured near Avdiivka.

The Ukrainian Army opened prompt return fire to each of the attacks.
