Ukraine’s Ambassador to Finland Andriy Olefirov tweeted this on March 17. “Today, the Finnish government announced it’s about to assign another tranche of humanitarian aid for Ukraine worth of 500 thousand Euros”, reads the message.
Previously, the EU allocated another aid package worth of 20 million Euros so as to help civilians who suffered during the conflict in eastern Ukraine. Besides, Turkish government said it would assign 10 million U.S. dollars for humanitarian projects in Ukraine. The Red Cross Office in Kyiv also reported it would allocate about 64 million dollars to cover humanitarian needs of internal migrants and citizens who stay in the combat area in Donbas.
