Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made an official statement after the explosions in the Turkish city Istanbul, Reuters reports.

"The terrorist attack in Istanbul has been directed against our security forces and civilians. It is clear that the explosions after a football match "Besiktas" - "Bursaspor" were aimed on the maximum number of victims. Unfortunately, attacks resulted in deaths and injuries," Erdogan said.

Earlier it was reported that the number of victims as a result of two explosions near the "Vodafone Arena" stadium went up to 70, more than 29 people were killed. The incident occurred at about 11.30 p.m. Kyiv time. Interior Minister of Turkey also called probable that one of the explosions was made by a suicide bomber.
