The number of people killed in two blasts in Istanbul rose to 38 people. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey, Suleyman Soylu, AFP reports.

Earlier, an explosion occurred near the "Vodafone Arena" stadium (home arena of the Turkish football club "Besiktas") in Istanbul in the evening of December 10, half an hour after the match between "Besiktas" and "Bursaspor". According to the authorities, the vast majority of the victims are the police officers.


It was reported that a car bomb was undermined by a remote method, and after almost a minute a suicide bomber blew himself up in a nearby park.

In Turkey, a mourning day was declared due to the terrorist attack.
