Foreigners in power: the income of Yaresko, Kvitashvili, and Abromavicius

According to Ukrainian law, officials must apply the income statement for 2015 before April 1, as well as foreigners. Not everyone hurried to disclose his income, among them are the governor of Odesa region Mikheil Saakashvili, head of the National Police Khatia Dekanoidze, head of the Odesa Police Giorgi Lortkipanidze. It is also not clear whether the declaration of recently dismissed Deputy Attorney General - Odesa region Attorney David Sakvarelidze to become public.

Health Minister Kvitashvili has declared in 2015, 75.3 thous. UAH of income, the salary. According to the declaration, members of his family earned 93.8 thousand dollars outside of Ukraine.
The Minister of Health has a plot of land in Georgia, 1162 sq. m, and an apartment in Georgia. Kvitashvili also has the car "Hyundai Tucson" (2008).
On the bank accounts he holds 4 thousand dollars, his family has 12 thousand.
Minister has declared 47 749.5 dollars as the private pension provision abroad, his family - 82 760 dollars. In 2014 Kvitashvili’s salary was slightly more than 5 thousand UAH, and abroad, he has earned 82 thousand dollars.
Minister of Economic Development and Trade in 2015 earned 1.12 million UAH. His wages amounted to 82.6 thousand UAH, dividends and interest - 332.1 thousand UAH, income from lease of property - 706.1 thousand UAH.
As you can see, compared to the 2014 year, his salary dramatically decreased (in 2014 it amounted to almost 15 million UAH). But his family income increased from 2.04 to 7.46 million hryvnia.
Abromavicius owns the flat (106 square meters), other real estate in Kyiv (81 square meters). The Minister’s funds in bank accounts amounted to nearly 8.595 million UAH.
His family owns also some property or rent three plots of land in the Kyiv region (0.12 ha, 0.36 ha and 0,127 ha), two apartments in Kyiv (185 and 66 square meters), one apartment in Crimea (244.5 sq. m), garage in Kyiv (13.4 sq. m) and Crimea (14.2 sq. m), two cars Porsche Cayenne (2008 and 2012).
In addition to family members accounts in banks and other financial institution is UAH 7 million, of which 6.422 million USD abroad.
The Minister of Finance declared 121 730 hryvnia and 18 339 dollars. Of the total income Yaresko obtained in Ukraine her salary was 72 965 hryvnia, dividends, interest - 26 851 hryvnia, child support - 21 914 hryvnia.
According to the declaration, abroad Yaresko has received 18,339 dollars in revenue, equivalent of 407 468 hryvnia. Her family (2 daughters) declared 56,341 dollars in revenue in 2015, which were not received in Ukraine and in terms of amount to 894 712 hryvnia.
The property or rental of the Minister are 2 plots of land area of 3 and 6.9 thousand sq. m., and in co-ownership - residential building area of 1267.5 square meters. The minister and her family do not have purchased or leased vehicles.Yaresko keeps 56.8 million USD in banks, including abroad 55.2 million USD, in 2014 on her accounts she kept 47.95 million UAH.
Yaresko has contributed to the authorized capital of a foreign company (enterprise, organization) in the amount of 36,736,433 UAH. Her family members have the accounts in foreign banks and financial institutions for 2.3 million UAH.
In 2015 Yaresko spent on voluntary insurance 77 021 UAH, of them abroad - 52 055 UAH.
First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Eka Zguladze in 2015 declared the 165 thousand 78 UAH income. At the same time a year earlier in her Declaration 2 thousand. 540 hryvnia were listed.
Most of the income was deputy’s salary - 163 thousand 491 UAH and departmental awards to 1 thousand 587 hryvnia. The foreign income of Zguladze was 24 thousand 795 EUR and 8 thousand 153 EUR. Her property is 1 apartment of 220 square meters, and the members of her family own an apartment of 50 square meters.
According to the declaration, Zguladze does not own a car. In addition, she does not have the money or securities from banks or other financial institutions.
The first deputy director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has earned 529 thousand 582 UAH, all income last year amounted to wages.
He stated 1.1 million hryvnia of income earned abroad in the declaration. His family earned outside of Ukraine 18 thousand UAH. Uglava owns a land area of 778 square meters, as well as an apartment - 169 square meters. His family also has an apartment - 129.63 sq. m, and in another lease is 80 sq. m.
He does not own any cars, and his family has Toyota Prado 2004. He also pointed out the contributions to the share capital of the foreign company (enterprise, organization) in the amount of 1.5 million UAH, as well as 2 million UAH, which his family holds in bank accounts.
